Tell us your true rat, mouse, or owl story, and we may turn it into a video.
There might be a villain like Krafty Rat, or a sweetheart like Mrs. Coo. Munchy Mouse, a rebellious teen, might be the star, too.
Don’t forget Big Screech, the barn owl. Or Fly Ball, who loves buzzing around your house. Woody Pecker drives everyone crazy on the owl platform. And Blue Jay always seems to be in the middle of things.
But never underestimate Kitty Kat. She’s always hungry for action.
Today’s true story, “Rat in Your Kitchen,” is based on a Carmel Owls volunteer who discovered that a rat had eaten a chunk out of an apple in the fruit bowl on their kitchen table one night.
Each video is scripted as a public service announcement (PSA) to share and promote Great Horned Owls as a natural alternative to controlling rats, mice, and other rodents (sorry, guys, but it’s a hard life).
Rather than spreading rodenticides in your backyard—where they can have serious side effects on non-target wildlife, including cats, wild felines, and raptors that consume poisoned prey—consider nature’s solution. Owls with nesting fledglings can prey on up to seven rodents a night. Every night. Night after night.
Nature’s way of rat control.

Message us with your story. But keep it short. Your video will be about 23s long...
