We need your financial support!
Carmel Owls is a volunteer organization based in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We volunteer our time to build the owl platforms, canvas local residents in the Monterey Peninsula for suitable trees, code our website, write newsletters, and post on social media (currently NextDoor and Facebook). We visit all potential sites to review the tree, meet and greet the homeowner, and ask for a signed liability waiver.
Donations fund all platform materials (redwood, screws, brackets, tree mounts, braces, cedar shingles), supplies (sandpaper, stain), safety equipment (traffic cones), outreach (web hosting, email newsletters, small flyers), and, of course, the cherry picker rental.

Carmel Owls also welcomes 501(c)(3) donations via Carmel Cares. Please include 'Carmel Owls' in the memo to ensure your donation reaches us.
We offer three tiers of elevated support. To show our appreciation for the supporters at the Titanium, Platinum, and Gold levels, we will create a custom, engraved plaque on an owl platform to commemorate your generous donation.

$2,000 allows Carmel Owls to build six owl platforms and deploy a rented cherry picker for the day to complete the installation of these platforms.
Carmel Owls' annual budget is approximately $5,000 per year, which allows for two deployments (typically spring and fall) for a total of 12 platforms. We also donate owl platforms when appropriate.
